Writer Jules Verne, in his 1874 book The Mysterious Island, made this statement:
“I believe that water will one day be employed as fuel, that hydrogen and oxygen which constitute it, used singly or together, will furnish an inexhaustible source of heat and light, of an intensity of which coal is not capable.”
Well, if Mr. Verne was still around, he would likely take an intense interest in today’s FamilyFirst pick: Hydrogen technology Applications.
The company’s founder, Denny Klein, has figured out a way to burn water efficiently.
Klein takes distilled water and converts it into Aquygen, a gas composed of two atoms of hydrogen and one of oxygen, as opposed to H20.
The gas burns cool to the touch, but when it contacts materials like brick, stone, or metal, it becomes intensely hot.
It’s much hotter and more efficient than acetylene. Plus, its byproduct is water vapor!
More exciting is the fact that Klein and company are powering automobiles with HHO.
Cool stuff! Perhaps today’s pick is the future of energy.
